I'm Back

Good Evening,

BBBRRRR its cold outside.

I have been away a few week, but I have still been crafting, just not had much chance to blog. I have quite a few card that I have made over the last few week, I will work on getting them on here.

We got a call on Friday informing us my cousin had just got engaged. I thought this was a perfect chance to have an afternoon crafting while the other half did some work on a database for his brother. So I have spent the afternoon creating this card.

Was really lacking inspiration for this one as its not and occasion I make cards for often, but once I had decided on a colour scheme and a stamped image my creative juices started to flow and this is what I managed to come up with.

The image I have used is a forever friends stamp that I recently purchased. I just love these FF stamps and cannot stop buying them. They are so cute. I have coloured it in using Promarkers.

I have attached a little charm to the ribbon on the bottom corner, which I thought was really appropriate. I cam accross this when I was sorting out some bits in my craft room last weekend. For once I put it safe and actually remembered where I had put it.

The embossing to the back has been done using one of the texture plates that came with my Big shot machine that I got for christmas.
Many thanks for looking.

Christmas Card

Evening All

Well had a pretty busy weekend and my ever evolving craft room has had yet another addition of yet more worksurface so my Printer and my Pazzles have a lovely new home.

This afternoon I got to sit down and do a little crafting.

I have wanted to have a go at a side step card for quite a while now, and today as I was tidying after my bit of DIY I cam across a printout that I had done quite a while ago with instructions for one.

I gave it a go and decided to make it into a christmas card as I bought a Embossing folder with a christmas tree on many months ago and I thought at the time it would look good decoupaged up and so I set about making it work with the step card.

I got so into this card that even the present paper all lines up on each step so that it looks all uniform.

The wording on the left is cut with my pazzles.

Hope you like.

Thanks for looking.

Have a good evening.

My First Easel Card

Good Evening All,
Hope you have all a great weekend.
Well, I have had quite a prodctive day today, and had an afternoon of crafting.

I have loads of cards to make this month and have done 2 already and today's was my 3rd out of my list of about 15 to complete this month.

Having seen loads of Easel cards in card galleries lately I thought I would have a go at one and I must say I absolutley love this card that I have made. It is for my mother in law's birthday and I am sure she will love it too.

Well here it is.

I have made myself a light box for taking my photos, but I just need to purchase some lights to make my photo's better and clearer. I am starting a photography course in a few week and I cannot wait to put what I will be learning into action to make my photos of my cards look professional.
Thank You very much for looking and have a great evening.

Evening All,

Yipppeeeee it's Friday!!!!

Well after browsing many blogs for several months and getting my card making mojo back I am now taking the plunge at finally using the blog that I set myself up many months ago.

I had been tasked by my fiance to make a card for his mum in Kent who is going into hospital on Tuesday for an operation. Its nothing major but as we are so far away in Yorkshire and he cannot get to see her he wanted us to send her a card so that she knows we are thinking about her.

So this afternoon I set to work on making this card. I have recently bought myself a few (well 48) Promarkers and they are fabulous. The image that I have used was a freebie from another blog that I follow http://beccysplace.blogspot.com/.

The frame around him was cut on my Pazzles. I have had this several months now and after a stressful few months I am finally getting to grips on how to use it. I had previously had a Craft Robo but wanted something more versatile and my pazzles ticks all the boxes and I love her.

Well enough of my dribble. Here's my creation -

This is my first time at uploading so I am hoping I have done it right. Still have a lot to learn when it comes to blogging.

Well thank you for looking. Have a good evening.
